Jeppesen Systems' products have always been at the leading edge in terms of modeling and optimization capability. In the early 90s, we were the first to solve fully-dated crew pairings directly. The powerful Carmen rule modeling language was also introduced. This innovation, that allows clients to carry out extensive scenario testing, was a brilliant achievement by Jeppesen Systems' engineers. In the mid 90s, our fleet scheduling product was successfully applied to problem dimensions that had been out of reach before. Today, we are still pioneers as we develop and integrate new concepts for guaranteeing maximum crew satisfaction and simultaneous optimization of crews, fleets and timetables.
