When a caller requests information about a journey, a range of different inputs can be used for the enquiry entry. Suburbs, stops, landmarks, addresses and street intersections can be specified as the origin and destination.

A range of different journey results are found by IPTIS. The first journey displayed is always the 'optimal' journey defined by the parameters chosen in the enquiry.

IPTIS shows a pictorial representation of the journey from origin to destination. Route paths, walking directions, landmarks and stops can be displayed on these street maps.

IPTIS provides editors to maintain your own data or alternatively can import data from existing data sources. The timetables and route maps can be edited in parallel for more accurate data entry.
